Faridkot: Corona recovered survivor meets newborn son for first time
Faridkot, April 18, 2020: The first coronavirus patient after recovering met his newborn son on Saturday, whom he missed while going under treatment being in isolation.
Anand Goel was in isolation at GGS Medical College and Hospital in Faridkot when his son was born a week’s back on April 12.
Goel, 35-year-old, was tested positive on April 2 for the coronavirus and he has not been tested negative twice and was feeling thrilled on his recovery.
It was really emotional moments for me on seeing and holding in arms, my son for the first time, expressed Goel emotional voice.
Though I saw my son through a video call but meeting in person has a different feeling and bonding and only my spirit of meeting him and brought me out of virus web, he said.
Expressing his pleasures on the recovery of corona patient Anand Goel – first of the district, DC Faridkot, Kumar Sourabh Raj congratulated him and also thanked the health department of GGS Medical College staff, for their dedication and devotion in the treatment which will help them in future such cases. DC also appealed to maintain social distancing to win the battle against coronavirus and following the instructions of the government from time to time.
The people of the city are also happy over the recovery of the first corona patient.
