Massive fire breaks out in Panchkula's Industrial area Phase-2

Panchkula (Haryana), May 12, 2025: A major fire broke out on Monday afternoon at Plot No. 124 in Industrial Area Phase-2, Panchkula, triggering panic across the vicinity as thick plumes of black smoke engulfed the area.
The fire reportedly started around 3:15 PM, and within minutes, the blaze intensified, spreading rapidly and creating a dense cloud of smoke visible from several parts of the city.
Upon receiving the alert, the fire department rushed three fire tenders to the scene, and firefighting operations are currently underway. Given the magnitude of the fire, additional fire personnel and resources may be deployed if necessary.
While the exact cause of the fire is yet to be determined, no casualties have been reported so far. However, officials suspect that significant property damage may have occurred.
Several industrial workers and locals gathered at the site as the flames continued to rage. Authorities have urged residents to stay away from the affected area and cooperate with emergency services.
The fire department has expressed confidence in bringing the situation under control shortly.
