Youths can play vital role in sensitizing the people of medical protocols to keep COVID-19 pandemic at bay
Jalandhar, July 04, 2020: PUDA Estate Officer Ms Navneet Kaur Bal on Saturday gave clarion call to the youths to become active part of the 'Mission Fateh' movement initiated by Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh to win the war against Covid-19 pandemic.
Fagging off the mass awareness drive of the Youth Services department in DAV College, She said that youths are the future of our country and are blessed with indomitable energy that can be channelized in this fight against Covid-19
She said that youths can play a significant role in keeping the people vigilant about the precautions which would help them to protect from Covid-19 pandemic. Ms Bal said that awareness is vital for keeping the Covid-19 pandemic at bay.
She said that youths must ensure the people in their localities are sensitized about the preventive measures including wearing of masks, washing hands and maintaining two-yard distancing.
She told that the people are being apprised about 'Mission Fateh', the flagship program of the Chief Minister, which was a symbol of the firm determination of Punjabis to win the war against Covid-19 pandemic.
She added the volunteers disseminated the message that 'Mission Fateh' was a true reflection of the Punjabi spirit to overcome from all odds for emerging victorious.
Meanwhile, Assistant Director Youth Services Mr Jaspal Sahota said that hundreds of volunteers of department held awareness drive in several parts of the district.
He said that during the drive, masks and pamphlets were distributed among the people.
The people were told to adhere to the medical protocols including masking, washing hands and maintaining social distancing in their daily routine to combat Covid-19 pandemic, he said.
