Pakistan Ranger detained at LoC in Rajasthan

Jaipur, May 4, 2025: BSF has detained a Pakistan Ranger at Line of Control (LoC) at Rajasthan border along with Pakistan. Name of the Ranger is yet to be made public.
This development has come few days after a BSF Jawan Purnam Kumar Sahu was detained by Pakistani Rangers when he had inadvertently crossed over the border in Ferozepur area. He misunderstood border line and went to take rest under a tree when he was detained.
Though there is a procedure that those crossing inadvertently are handed over back immediately but Pakistan Rangers are yet to return BSF Jawan. Detained Pakistani Ranger is in custody of BSF Rajasthan unit.
