Chandigarh, April 1, 2020: Government of Punjab has appealed to Non-Residents Indians (NRIs) who came to India after January 30, 2020, to furnish their details on Helpline Number 112, immediately.
The Punjab government has issued a self-declaration proforma in this regard on which they should give their details such as passport number, name of the airport, date of landing and date of arrival in Punjab.
NRIs would also furnish details about their permanent address or present stay and hotel if any. They should also mention their places of visiting in Punjab and contact details such as mobile, landline numbers and email ids.

US Mission to India: Repatriation registration for US citizens
The United States Mission to India continues to coordinate repatriation flights from India. These flights are for U.S. Citizens and certain Legal Permanent Residents on a space-available basis only. While the exact cost of the flights has not been determined, the price should be comparable to a full-fare economy commercial flight available before the COVID-19 outbreak.
NRIs must fill out a form as soon as possible if they want to be contacted by phone or email when repatriation flights become available. Please do not call the U.S. Embassy or Consulates to place your name on the list for possible repatriation flights. Repatriation flight departure times and destinations within the United States are subject to change without notice.
You and your immediate family you are traveling with may fill out this form together. Travel companions who are not immediate relatives should fill this form out separately.
This form can accommodate families up to six members. If you have more than six family members traveling together, you will need to fill out a second copy of this form with your additional family members' information.
As a reminder, if you are a U.S. citizen interested in departing from India on a U.S. government-coordinated flight, and have not done so already, please provide updated information by filling out this form: https://tinyurl.com/uscit-india , in order to be notified of potential availability of tickets.
Even if you have already provided your data by phone, please provide it on this form. Note that families may include up to six persons per form. You will need to have the passport information available when you complete the form. We note that it is likely that flights will have stricter than usual limits on the weight of luggage as well as be unable to accommodate pets.
We urge U.S. citizens to enroll in the Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP) athttps://step.state.gov/in order to receive critical information from the Embassy concerning flight opportunities. We are unable to answer all calls regarding flight updates at the current time. You will be notified about flight updates via STEP message.
