Fatehgarh Sahib. April.14, 2020: It is matter of great relief for the residents of the district that two Jamaati women found positive in the district admitted in Gian Sagar hospital Banur are improving and are asymptomatic at present, said Dr. N.K.Aggarwal Civil Surgeon Fatehgarh Sahib. He said fortunately no new positive case have been reported in the district from the last one week.
He said that the two Jamaati women who belong to Aurangabad along with 30 other Jamaatis came to district were found positive and presently admitted in Gian Sagar hospital. He said both are in good condition and after completing 14 days on 20th April their samples will be taken if found negative again sample will be taken after 24 hours for confirmation and if they are found positive repeated sample will be taken after 5 days. He said that the district health department is taking all precautions.
He said that as of now 43 samples of close contact of these two positive were taken and 33 were tested negative and result of rest is awaited and they all are home quarantined till 17th April. He said that 848 NRIs came to the district and all have been traced and out of these 848 have passed 14 days home quarantine limit, there is no case of home quarantine. He said all 59 visitors who came from Hazur Sahib and 154 who attended Holla Mohalla are still under home quarantine.
