" Art Of Living" activists distribute ration kits.

Nawanshahr, April 20, 2020: The local BJP activists especially women have come out to contribute towards the success of " Mission Defeat COVID-19" in a unique way. The local BJP activists comprising former
secretary of district unit Poonam Manik, Rajni Kanda and Ekta Ballagan, have started stitching cotton masks and the home made cotton masks are being distributed to the labourers working at the Grain Markets here.
It is worthwhile to mention here that the district police has brought different NGOs under the umbrella of " Helping Hands SBS Nagar Police" to coordinate the community service activities to combat the menace of COVID-19 in a well planned way in the district. Hence, the distribution work of the masks to the labourers in Grain Market was executed by the BJP activists in coordination with DSP, Raj Kumar, who has been deputed as Nodal Officer of " Helping Hands SBS Nagar Police" by the SSP, Alka Meena.
Divulging details, DSP Raj Kumar, said that as many as 250 home made cotton masks were distributed to the labourers at Grain Market today. He lauded the gesture of Poonam Manik, Rajni Kanda, Ekta Ballagan, Ashwani Ballagan, former district BJP president, Ashu Angra, Mohit Jain, Dinesh Jain, Bharat Jyoti Kundra, for providing masks to the labourers, who have been facing lot of health hazards at the Grain Markets.
Simlarly, the Nodal Officer, Raj Kumar also lauded the dedicated efforts being put in by the activists of the local chapter of " Art Of Living" , comprising Manoj Kanda, Rajan Arora, Sanjiv Chopra, Vinod Bhardwaj, Raman Malhotra, Manoj Jagpal, Raj Kumar, Happy Bhatia, Sanjiv Duggal, Rohit Midha, Parvesh Kumar, Harish Bassi, Pardeep Bhasin, who have been distributing ration kits to the genuine needy families. As many as 260 ration kits have been distributed so far.
