April.22, 2020: To facilitate the vehicle owners, whose vehicles were impounded due to violation of curfew, the Courts in Fatehgarh Sahib Sessions Division have displayed the procedure to release these vehicles on the official website of the Court according to which the owners of the vehicle can move applications for release of vehicles on Sapurdari online without personally coming to the court i.e. through Email on court's official email IDs:- for Fatehgarh Sahib djfgs-chdnic.in, for Amloh courtamlohgmail.com and for Khamano khamanocourt@gmail.com, said District and Sessions Judge Nirbhow Singh Gill.
Ashish Kumar Bansal, Civil Judge (Sr. Division), Fatehgarh Sahib and Ashish Thathai, Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Amloh said that the reports from the concerned police station are also being called online and the applicant can check the status of his application by filing the CNR number, which is written on the acknowledgement receipt sent to the applicant when he files the application online. They further told that the release order is then sent directly to the concerned police station from where the applicant can get the vehicle released after furnishing the bonds in the police station itself. The status i.e. next date and final order on the application can also be checked by the applicant through online portal of E-courts services i.e. http:i/ecourts.gov.in by filing CNR number. They also told that the procedure shall go a long way in reducing the footfall in Judicial Court Complex and shall be a step in furtherance of the directions of the Health Department to maintain social distancing so as to contain the spread of the contagious virus COVID-19.
