CHANDIGARH, APRIL 22, 2020 - As the journalists are exposed to the outer world and many of us are in the frontline at the time of COVID-19 while fulfilling our professional commitments, so keeping in view the health and safety of the journalists, the Chandigarh Press Club in association with Chandigarh Administration is organising a Medical Screening Camp for the journalists at the Press Club premises on April 23 (Thursday), from 10 a.m till 3 p.m.
The team of doctors from Government Multi Speciality Hospital Sector 16 will be there for the Medical Screening. And on the basis of recommendation of the visting doctors' team, only if required, the journalist will refer for the COVID-19 testing, according to CPC Secretary general Saurabh Dugal.
For maintaining the social distancing, the entry for tomorrow's camp will be from the Bank side (gate adjoining to the Jain Hostel) and the screening will be done at the new hall 'Headline'. At a given ,time, only four journalist will be allowed to stay in the hall for the check up.
There will be arrangement for water at the Club, but it is advisable, as there might be waiting period so please bring your own water bottles.
