Jalandhar, April 26, 2020: Under Punjab Government Ghar-Ghar Rozgar’s scheme, The District Bureau of Employment and Enterprises (DBEE) would start offering online counselling to the unemployed youths for preparing them to clear the competitive exams once after situation gets normal in the state.
Divulging the details, the Additional Deputy Commissioner Vishesh Sarangal said that due to curfew imposed by the state government to contain the COVID-19 pandemic, the DBEE would start holding counselling sessions online for the youths from Monday.
He said youths would be guided by counsellor of DBEE about methods to clear the exams, besides would also be detailed about career opportunities and various job responsibilities in the world of work.
He said that the youths would also be explained about the preparation for the interview and resume.
Further, the counsellor would also also brief them about self-employment schemes, and other activities and facilities being offered by DBEE.
He said that the DBEE has been tasked to cover maximum number of the youths in the counselling.
Meanwhile, Deputy Director Mrs Sunita Kalyan said that the youths can contact DBEE office's Career Counsellor Jasvir Singh on his number 89683-21674 for the counselling.
She said the counseling services would be available from 9 am to 5 pm.
