Jalandhar, April 28, 2020: In a clear reflection of Jalandhar residents indomitable spirit to fight back against every odd, three Covid 19 infected patients were discharged from the local Civil Hospital after they recovered from Corona Virus, thereby bringing the tally of total recovered patients from pandemic to ten.
The patients Ali Bagh Hussain, Vishav Sharma and Mr. Jasbir Singh hailed from village Talwandi Bhilan (near Kartarpur), Mitha Bazaar and Raja Garden localities of the district. All three patients were admitted to local Civil Hospital after their tests were found positive. A specialized team of doctors led by Senior Medical Officer Dr. Kashmiri Lal treated these patients in Civil Hospital.
After treatment at the civil hospital there samples were again sent to laboratory in which their report was found negative. The sample was again sent for confirmatory test in which their report was found negative. After which they were finally discharged from the local civil hospital today.
Ali Bagh Hussain, Vishav Sharma and Mr Jasbir Singh expressed complete satisfaction over the treatment given to them in the Civil hospital. They thanked all the medical and Para medical staff who took care of them in last couple of days. The patients also expressed their sincere gratitude to the state government led by Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh for making elaborate arrangements to take care of the patients in this hour of crisis.
Meanwhile, complementing the team of Doctors who have ensured the treatment to these patients, Civil Surgeon Jalandhar Dr Gurinder Kaur Chawla and Medical Superintendent Civil hospital Jalandhar Dr. Harjinder Singh said that under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Jalandhar Varinder Kumar Sharma and Commissioner of Police Mr. Gurpreet Singh Bhullar, the Health department was fully committed to win the war against Corona Virus. They said that it was a moment of pride and satisfaction for them that these patients have recovered. They said that a total of ten patients have recovered so far in district adding that all the remaining patients were also on fast pace of recovery.
