Fatehgarh Sahib. April.30, 2020: Deputy Commissioner Amrit Kaur Gill said that Late last night 13 Hazur Sahib Pilgrims belonging to the district came in a special PRTC Volvo bus and they were directly taken to civil hospital Fatehgarh Sahib by the police and health authorities and after checking temperature and taking their throat samples were taken to Sarai in historical Gurudwara Fatehgarh Sahib and kept in isolation. DC said that they are being provided all basic requirement food and other items. The district administration has made elaborate arrangement for their comfortable stay in isolation.
Interestingly the Gurudwara Sahib had already been closed for the devotees and the Sewadars at Gurudwara have started suggesting devotees not to come till the report of the Hazur Sahib Pilgrims kept here come.
Dr. N.K.aggarwal Civil Surgeon said that prima facie they look like to be asymptomatic but their status will be confirmed after getting the report expected tomorrow. Gurpreet Singh of nearby village Reona said that they were struck in Hazur Sahib due to lock down from the last one month. He thanked the CM for bringing them to home.
Meanwhile the report of the alone student who came from Kota and kept in isolation has been tested negative.
