S. A. S. Nagar, May 03, 2020: "The procedure has been outlined for people of other states stranded in Punjab, who want to go back to their home states on their own vehicle." This was disclosed here today by the Deputy Commissioner Mr. Girish Dayalan.
Divulging more details, he said that on registering for Inter-State movement on http://covidhelp.punjab.gov.in/, these people would get an SMS to go to their nearest medical screening centre (list available on
http://sasnagar.nic.in) and afterwards they have to go through screening and obtain fitness certificate.
This would be followed by applying for Inter-State movement pass online, while uploading the fitness certificate as
supporting document on: https://epasscovid19.pais.net.in/. Then they will be issued Inter-State Movement Pass to travel to your State.
However, it would be important to note that the applications without screening certificate shall be rejected and they would be allowed to travel only 24 hours after the issue of the pass. That is so that intimation has to be sent to their State about their arrival.
