Takes 1216 migrants back home to Jharkhand
S. A. S. Nagar, May 11, 2020: The Fourth Shramik train today chugged off the Mohali Railway Station carrying the 1216 migrant workers back to their home state of Jharkhand.
Given a warm see off by the District Administration, the migrants were ferried to the railway station from the 8 collection centres where they were first thoroughly screened and then boarded the buses to reach the railway station for journey back home.
The District Administration provided packed food packets, water besides biscuits to the migrants who expressed deep sense of gratitude for facilitating their safe journey home to their home state.
