Amid lockdown, Railways extend Parcel Train services till May 31
Ferozepur, May 18, 2020: The Ferozepur division of Northern Railways has extended parcel train services till May 31 to ensure uninterrupted supplies of essential commodities, during the lockdown period.
Bandra Terminus-Ludhiana and Ludhiana-Banda Terminus, parcel train will run on May 18, 20, 22, 24, 26, 28 and 30 with parcel van and one SLR. Similarly, Ludhiana-Bandra Terminus will run on the same dates and June 1 with halts at Ambala, Delhi, Rewari, Jaipur, Ajmer, Falna, Palanpur, Mehsana, Ahmedabad, Anand, Vador Anleshkwar, Sura and Wapi.
Mumbai- Ferozepur on 19, 21, 23,25, 27, 29 and 31 May and Ferozepur Mumbai Central on the same days and June 2 with halts at Bahtinda, Rohtam, New Delhi, Palwal, Mathura, Bharatpur, Swai, Madhopur, Kota, Nagda, Ratlam, Gohra, Badhora, Anleshwar, Sura and Wapi with 5 parcel van and one SLR.
Hyderabd-Amritsar will run on May 22, 29 at 19.30 will go up to with halts at Amritsar via Ambala, Ludhiana, Jalandhar with 5 parcel yan and two SLRs. While Amritsar-Hyderabad will run on May 18 and 25 on 05.00 with halts at Ambala, New Delhi, Jhansi, Bhopal, Itarsi, Manmad, Aurangabad, Purna, Nanded, Secundrabad with 5 pacel vans and two SLRs.
Amritsar-Hawra will run on May 31 at 18.40, will reach at Ambala t 22.40 with halts at Delhi, Muradabad, Lucknow Varnsi, Dindyala Updhaya, Patna, Jhaja,Asansol with 5 parcel yans and one SRL. While Hawra-Amritsar will run upto June 3 daily up with 5 parcel van and one SLR.
Delhi-Jammu-Tavi will on daily basis upto May 31 and with halts at Ambala, Ludhiana, Pathankot Cantt with one each parcel van and one SLR. While Jammu Tavi-Delhi will on daily basis upto June 1 at 18.10 with halts at Pathankot Cantt, Ludhiana, Ambala and Panipat with one each parcel van and one SLR.
