Stop pretending being saviour of farmers and ask Modi to stop harassing farmers of country, Dhillon asks Harsimrat
Chandigarh, August 02, 2020: Opposing the anti-farmers ordinance passed by Narendra Modi led -BJP-Akali government, the Punjab Youth Congress will hold statewide dharnas on August 4. In a press statement issued from Chandigarh, the state president of Punjab Youth Congress, Brinder Singh Dhillon said that the representatives of Youth Congress will hold dharnas at 10 places in each vidhan sabha. He sad that keeping in mind the Covid restrictions and following the social distancing norms, only 5 representatives of youth congress will be present on each dharna site.
Lambasting Narendra Modi led centre govt and SAD leader and minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal, Dhillon said that on one side, Harsimrat Badal had given her nod to pass the anti-farmers ordinance but on the other hand her husband and SAD president Sukhbir Badal is threatening of sacrificing every possible thing to oppose the same. Questioning Sukhbir Badal, Dhillon asked what would he sacrifice to oppose the anti farmers ordinance passed by the cabinet of that her wife is a member. He said a party that is having 2 MPs and holding a cabinet birth in cabinet can not do any good to anyone but to befool the people.
Dhillon asked Harsimrat to abstain from misguiding the people of Punjab on ordinance issue and persuade Modi to take the decision back. Terming Modi govt as 'Government of Experiments', Dhillon said that since the formation Modi is busy applying his useless and clueless ideas. He said that people are still to recover from the damage done by implementing the policies like GST, Demonisation etc.
