For which the media can also play a meaningful role in view of the current situation and by avoiding any misleading news.
Ms. Preneet Kaur appealed to all that while 54 members of doctors, nurses, ward attendants, class four and other medical personnel were also suffering from COVID infection, then any kind of politics must be avoided and respect should be given to the Corona Warriors by encouraging them. Giving example, She said that despite of contracting VIRUS, Doctors like Dr. RPS Sibia, are constantly liaising with their colleagues to care for the patients.
She further said that in Patiala district so far 1723 COVID positive patients have been cured and the remaining about 960 patients are undergoing treatment at Government Rajindra Hospital, COVID Care Center and other COVID Centers. She said that 18 containment zones have been set up in the district to check the spread of COVID and the district administration has been working tirelessly to prevent the spread of covid.

She said that COVID patients were being treated free of cost at Rajindra Hospital and other COVID Centers and arrangements have been made to provide nutritious food as well as food from the homes of the patients, where they want.
The Lok Sabha Member said that for ensuring better treatment arrangements at Rajindra Hospital where the Chief Minister Capt. Amarinder Singh and she herself were supervising, there was a dedicated IAS officer Mrs. Surbhi Malik, also deputed as COVID Care Incharge.
