Patiala, August 16, 2020: Appreciating the concern of near ones of the patients undergoing treatment at COVID Care Center (Level-2 and Level-3) , set up at Govt Rajindra Hospital, COVID Care Incharge Mrs. Surbhi Malik today ,has come up with a new initiative of launching Facebook page along with existing two helpline numbers.
Divulging details, Mrs. Malik who also happens to be Additional Secretary, Medical Research and Education, said that anyone by posting a message into the inbox of Facebook page, "Patiala Rajindra Hospital COVID Enquiry Cell" could enquire/riase concern about the wellbeing/problem (if any) of his/her nearone. "We have a dedicated team that will be led by an undertraing IAS officer Dr. Nirmal Oseppachan to redress the concerns of the family members of the patients undergoing treatment at Rajindra Hospital", she added. Mr. Oseppachan to monitor the day to day enquiries and concerns raised by the family members and would also ensure to get redress them intimate, she further added.
Deputy Commissioner Mr. Kumar Amit said that the hospital administration would now reamain intouch with the public through social media platform to resolve the doubts of the general public about Noval Corona Virus (Covid-19) and to answer/redress the queries/concers of the people regarding Corona by maintaining better coordination with the people. He said that apart from this there are also two helpline numbers where family members of positive patients can get information about the health of the patients.
Covid Care Incharge Mrs. Surbhi Malik further added that Covid Care Cell has already made available two phone numbers 0175-2920376 and 62394-32083 to inform the family members of the patients and now a Facebook page has also been created so that the relatives of the positive patients can raise their concerns. She said that the creation of a Facebook page would not only improve the interaction with the relatives of the patients but also enable us to run an awareness campaign for the prevention of corona under Mission Fateh which is an effective tool of propaganda in today's digital age. She appealed to the people to follow and like the page "Patiala Rajindra Hospital Covid Enquiry Cell" created by Covid Care Center as much as possible so that the advisory given by the specialist doctors would also reach directly to the general public.
