With 13 more Corona +ve, the total tally in single-day reached 124 in Ferozepur
Ferozepur, August 20, 2020: 13 more Corona positive cases have been reported. Earlier 111 cases were reported and now the total positive cases in a single day have gone to 124 taking the total figure to 1431 in a single day.
The active cases in the district are now 909, 504 cured and 19 deaths due to Corona. In the past 3-4 days there had been spike in number of positive cases.
In the fresh positive cases, 46 are new, 7 influenza infections, 15 PW, 18 police officials 36 contacts, 2 interstate travelers – Delhi
In the meantime, the district administration has appealed to the people to move out only in emergency circumstances that too by following the precautionary measures by wearing masks, maintaining social distance and washing hands frequently. The police authorities have also been directed to be strict over non-wearing of masks at the public places.
