Twitter war in Punjab and Haryana CM over farmers issues
Chandigarh, November 26, 2020 : A twitter war broke out between Punjab Chief Minister Capt. Amarinder Singh and Haryana counterpart Manohar Lala Khattar today over farmers protests against the Centre Government.
Initiative was took by Punjab CM who questioned rationale behind stopping Punjab farmers by Haryana Govt on way to Delhi and strongly advocated granting them passage to Delhi.
In response to his tweets, the Haryana CM accused the Punjab CM of being inaccessible and said that he was trying for last three days to contact him. He also questioned his seriousness over farmer issues and said that Amarinder should stop inciting innocent farmers.
The Punjab CM hit back at Khattar over his response and said, “Shocked at your response.
He tweeted, "@mlkhattarji. It's the farmers who've to be convinced on MSP, not me. You should've tried to talk to them before their #DilliChalo. And if you think I’m inciting farmers then why are Haryana farmers also marching to Delhi?”.
Earlier Capt. Amarinder Singh had raised questions on decision of Haryana Government to stop farmers of Punjab enroute to Delhi.
