Hoshiarpur's Sukhchain declared the best player of Surjit Hockey Coaching Camp
50% discount on any Alpha brand hockey product for each player participating in the camp
Jalandhar, November 27, 2020: On the 65th day of Surjit Hockey Coaching Camp in progress here at local Surjit Hockey Stadium Jalandhar, based on his performance so far, hockey player Sukhchain Singh of Hoshiarpur has been declared the best players of the ongoing Surjit Hockey Coaching
According to Iqbal Singh Sandhu, Secretary, Surjit Hockey Society that on the 65th day of the hockey coaching camp being run by the society today, the selection committee consisting of Chief Coach Olympian Rajinder Singh, coach Davinder Singh, coach Yadvinder Singh Johnny and the director (coaching camp) of Society Surinder Singh Bhapa, after reviewing the overall performance of all the participating players, Sukhchain Singh of Hoshiarpur has been declared the best player of the ongoing Surjit Hockey Coaching Camp so far.
It is pertinent to mention here that Sukhchain Singh is participating in this camp from Hoshiarpur along with 4 other players every day. He is budding hockey player. Sukhchain Singh, aged 10 years, is currently a student of the 4th class of the punt Carmel School, Hoshiarpur.
On this occasion, renowned Alfa hockey brand equipment maker Jatin Mahajan honored Sukhchain Singh (Hoshiarpur) with the best player certificate along with hockey.
After seeing the participation of more than 100 players under the age of 14 in this hockey camp which has been going on for 65 consecutive days, announced that every player participating in Surjit Hockey Camp would be eligible for a 50% discount on the purchase of any Alpha brand hockey product.
According to Surinder Singh Bhapa, Director (Coaching Camp) of Surjit Hockey Society, under the guidance of Ghansham Thori, President of Surjit Hockey Society, Deputy Commissioner, Jalandhar. More than 100 players of the age group are participating, who are being coached by good coaches like Olympians Rajinder Singh, Davinder Singh, and Yadvinder Singh Johnny.
“No fee was charged for attending this camp and this training was free. Apart from hockey sticks and fruits, soaked almonds being provided by Tut Brothers of USA are being given to the participating players as daily food to all the participating players,” said Surinder Singh Thapa.
