Fatehgarh Sahib. December.4., 2020: Former President of District Bar Association Fatehgarh Sahib Amar Deep Singh Dharni has served a legal notice to Kangna Ranaut film actress for uploading a defamatory tweet on her Twitter social media account and making a mockery of a senior old lady participating in farmer’s protest at Delhi mentioning that the “Dadi” is available for Rs.100 to participate in the protest.
Addressing the media Advocate Rajbir Singh Grewal also former President of District Bar Association Fatehgarh Sahib said that he has served a legal notice to Kangna Ranaut on behalf of his client AS Dharni Advocate, who is also a leading farmer.
“The tweet has been seen by millions of people, so by uploading such a derogatory tweet, she has not only lowered the image and prestige of each lady but of all those who are participating in the stir and fighting for their cause. The tweet is a pure white lie and is without any proof and evidence. She has misused the huge social media for your oblique motive and vested interests for political mileage by defaming the peacefully striking farmer,” said A.S Dharni.
“So through this notice, you are called upon to tender an unconditional apology to the farmers and to issue a clarification thereby unequivocally withdrawing the said tweet within one week from the date of receipt of the notice, otherwise his client shall be constrained to initiate all appropriate legal action against you,” he added.
