Tan Dhesi, 35 other MPs seek British Govt intervention in ongoing farmer protest
London, December 5, 2020 : Tanmanjeet Dhesi and 35 other MPs of the Britain has sought intervention of the British Government in ongoing farmer protests in India and urged it to take up issue of impact of agitation on British Sikhs and Punjabis.
In a letter written to Dominic Raab British Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development to these MPs have sought an urgent meeting to discuss deteriorating situation in Punjab and its relation with Centre, representation to be made by him to his Indian counterpart about impact on British Sikhs and Punjabis with long standing links to land and farming in India.
They have given detailed presentation in letter on impact of the newly framed farm laws on British Sikhs and Punjabis.
