2 Express trains cancelled, 4 short-terminated and 4 diverted
Railways extend cancellation, short-termination, diversion of 10 trains in Punjab till Dec 19
Ferozepur, December 16, 2020: Still attributing disruption of rail traffic in the Ferozepur divison to the farmers’ agitation, the railway authorities have further extended the cancellation short-termination, diversion of 10 trains in Punjab till December 19.
Accordingly, the express trains which will remain cancelled are - 05211 Dibrugarh - Amritsar express special train JCO 17.12.20 will remain cancelled. Consequently, the 05212 Amritsar – Dibrugarh special train JCO 19.12.20 will also remain cancelled.
A railways official said the 4 short-terminated and short-originated trains are - 02715 Nanded- Amritsar exp JCO 17.12.20 will be short terminated at NewDelhi. Consequently, the 02716 Amritsar-Nanded exp. JCO 19.12.20 will short originate from NewDelhi and remain partially cancelled between NewDelhi-Amritsar-New Delhi, 02925 Bandra Terminus - Amritsar exp JCO 17.12.20 will be short terminated at Chandigarh, Consequently, the 02926 Amritsar- Bandra Terminus exp. JCO 19.12.20 will short originate from Chandigarh and remain partially cancelled between Chandigarh-Amritsar- Chandigarh.
In addition, the railway official further said, the 4 diverted trains are - 02903 Mumbai Central- Amritsar express special JCO 16.12.20 will be diverted to run via Beas- Tarntaran-Amritsar, 02904 Amritsar- Mumbai Central express special JCO 17.12.20 will be diverted to run via Amritsar- Tarntaran- Beas, 04649 / 73 Jaynagar – Amritsar express special JCO 16.12.20 will be diverted to run via Beas-Tarntaran - Amritsar, 04650 /74 Amritsar- Jaynagar express special JCO 17.12.20 will be diverted to run via Amritsar- Tarntaran- Beas.
