In a candid conversation with the farmers who have just returned from the protest at the Delhi border, Navjot Singh spoke on the impact of farmers’ protest on politics in particular and society in general.
Sitting around the burning firewood on a chilly morning, Sidhu also commended the people who have just returned from protest in Delhi to their home state Punjab.

Speaking on the farmers’ agitation, Sidhu said that farmers are presently leading a social movement that has brought the government to its knees.
“Farmers leading a Social Movement, fighting to protect Democratic Rights of 90% India of Labour, Small Traders, Shopkeepers & Consumers,” he said.
He further addressed the rumors of the farmer’s movement being politically motivated.
“Success of this movement is the triumph of our Democracy. The politicization of such a pristine movement does a disservice to the People of India,” he said.
