Indian Railway wishes early end of farmers’ agitation, to start more trains in New Year
Ferozepur, December 22, 2020: Railways authorities wishing for an early end of farmers’ agitation, announced to start more trains by the end of December or in the first week of January, 2021., said Balbir Singh, Additional Divisional Rail Manager, Ferozepur Division.
Divulging with more details, ADRM said, During the farmers’ agitation, in Ferozepur rail division, the railway has to suspend 8 pair of trains but after this keeping in view the convenience of the passengers, a decision was taken to start new 9 pair of trains and two such trains have already started from Amritsar for Jai Nagar and Bandra.
Five pair trains are being started for Jammu Katra for Rishikesh, Bandra, Gandhidham, Abha and Jamnagar by the end of December or in the first week of new year.
Jammu & Kashmir Rajdhani train has already started and one train for Udhampur for Kota will also be started in the first week of January, 2021.
We wish that with these arrangements in Udhampur and Jammu area, the passengers visiting Golden Temple and Mata Vaishno Devi.
