Fatehgarh Sahib. December.25, 2020: Chief Minister Captain. Amrinder Singh should immediately call all party meeting to pressurize the union government to concede the demand of the farmers, who are protesting and sitting on dharna on the Delhi borders in the chilly condition to repeal contentious farm laws enacted by the Modi government, which is State subject and to protect the federal structure of the country, said Prof Prem Singh Chandumajra senior SAD(B) leader, While talking to the media persons at Gurudwara Fatehgarh Sahib. He had come to pray for the success of farmer’s agitation and to pay obeisance to Sahibjadas.
He said that SAD(B) will fully support the state government in protecting the interests of the state and in getting full share of GST and RDF. He said that the union government is poking unnecessarily its nose in the affairs pertaining to the states, which is unconstitutional.
He said that it is unfortunate that the two senior cabinet ministers of the State government have been camping in Delhi from the last two days and begging their share of Rs.1200 crore, but union Minister is not heeding to their request, which is totally against the spirit of the constitution and looks as the Modi government did not consider Punjab as part of the country..
He further said that SAD has called a meeting of all like minded regional and like minded parties in the first week of the January in Delhi to forge an alliance to give a tough fight to the Modi government against its anti federal and dictatorial attitude. He said that the delegation of SAD(B) have met the leaders of all regional parties and they have assured to join hands to fight against the Modi Government to save the federal structure of the constitution.
