Contingent of retired IAS, Army officers leaves for Delhi carrying books-magazines for agitating farmers
Chandigarh, January 2, 2021: A contingent of retired IAS officers, retired army officials, and army wives left for the Singhu border on Saturday, to participate in the farmers’ agitation against farm bills. S.R Ladhar, Pirthi Chand, Harkesh Sidhu, and Brigadier Maan are among the retired officers who have taken the initiative to contribute to the farmers' cause.
Retired IAS officers of Punjab and Haryana had contributed 2 lakhs to buy books for farmers camping in Delhi. Four representatives of the retired officers have left early in the morning to deliver these books to Delhi.

Led by Brigadier Maan, the group is carrying more than 7000 books and magazines for the farmers protesting at Delhi borders.
