Supreme Court refuses to interfere in farmers' tractor rally issue, asks police to decide
Chandigarh, January 20, 2021: Supreme Court refused to interfere on the issue of proposed tractor march on January 26 and asked police to take the call on the matter.
While hearing the pleas on the issue of farmers protest at Delhi borders and Centre's plea against the proposed tractor rally or any other kind of protest, The Supreme Court asked the Centre to withdraw its plea against proposed tractor rally on Republic Day.
SC said that it will not pass any order on Centre's plea against proposed tractor rally or any other kind of protest by farmers on Republic Day.
CJI says, "We've said that it is for the Police to decide. We are not going to pass the orders. You are the authority to take action."
