We also have an oxygen concentrator as well as equipments for checking sugar level and blood pressure.
An ambulance is also available with us for referring patients to other hospitals," said Dr Multani while adding that "Hundreds of patients are being treated here everyday. Small level surgeries are also being conducted at this mini hospital."
He added, "We are with the farmers, who are fighting for their legal rights and they should be provided with all types of medical help. We are doing as much as we can do for them. Except hospital service, we also providing the facility of toilets here."
Dr Multani also appealed to those, who are serving 'Langar' everyday for the farmers, that the 'Langar'should be simple and various fried and unhygienic dishes should be avoided as the problems regarding acidity, diabetes and stomach ache are arising in some farmers here. "I am seeing, the tea, which is being served here daily, contains too much sugar. The tea should contain minimum level of sugar as the people consumes it many times a day. By making the 'Langar'simple, many health problems can be controlled," said Dr Multani.
He also informed that the state of Punjab already topped in terms of blood pressure and cancer related problems. In terms of diabetes, Punjab is on second number in India.
Dr Multani said in the coming days, they will be arranging more medical equipments like ECG machine for the patients.
Talking about the three farm laws, Dr Multani said, "The central government should resolve the problems of farmers soon. There is a need to call an immediate parliament session where farmers unions as well as political leaders should discuss the issue."
