CGC Jhanjeri to distribute scholarships up to Rs 5 crores this year
Chandigarh, January 21, 2021: Since its inception in 2012, Chandigarh Group of Colleges (CGC), Jhanjeri has not only been at the forefront of delivering quality higher education, but has been proactive in offering need-based scholarships to the students of the nation, and particularly the region.
“We believe that higher education is one of the most lucrative investments a student can make & any financial hindrance shouldn't ruin their chances of building a great career. Therefore, each year CGC Jhanjeri revamps and expands its scholarships so that maximum students can avail benefit in the broadest ways possible. And this year, we have come up with bigger and better scholarship opportunities in the form of CGC JOSH,” said S. Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, President, CGC Jhanjeri.
CGC JOSH, which is the CGC Jhanjeri Open Scholarship for Higher Education aims at recognizing the talent of meritorious students with Scholarships up to ₹5 Crores.
Honourable Minister of Technical Educational & Industrial Training, Punjab Government, S. Charanjit Singh Channi was the Guest of Honor during the ceremony. “CGC JOSH announced by Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Jhanjeri is a novel attempt to motivate students to pursue a career of their choice, without worrying about financial circumstances. I really appreciate your initiative,” said Charanjit Singh Channi in his address to the audience.
