Farmer Organizations reject Government proposal on two year moratorium
New Delhi, January 21, 2021 : Farmer organizations have rejected Centre Government’s proposal to hold implementation of laws for two years.
After a mammoth meeting here today, Farmer leaders said that the repeal of three farm laws and law for MSP on all crops are basic demands which stand as they were until they are met. Farmers leaders also paid tributes to 147 farmers who have left their heavenly abode during this farmer agitation and vowed that their sacrifice won’t go waste.
They also disclosed that during meeting with Police, it demanded that Kisan Parade should not be held on ring road but farmers asserted that it will be carried out on ring road only. Again a meeting will be held tomorrow on January 22, 2021.
They alsos aid that peaceful agitation has now spread in whole country and farmers from Karnatka are also holding rallies in support of Republic Day Kisan Parade. Similarly farmers from Keral are also arriving on Tractors and other vehicles. Farmers from Bilaspur amd Rampur in Uttrakhand have also held Tractor March as preparation for Kisan Parade. Farmers from Chhatisgarh will gherao Raj Bhawan on January 23 and one team will leave for Delhi.
Similarly farmers from Orissa have started Kisan Delhi Challo Yatra but UP Police is harassing people enroute which was condemned by farmer leades. A 3 day mega programme is being organized in Kolkata from 20 to 22 January and thousands of people had participated in programme yesterday. Similarly farmers, labourers and common man from Rajasthan have started reaching Shahjahanpur.
