Chandigarh: 2,764 gets jab on first day of Tika Utsav
Chandigarh, April 11, 2021:
As per the UT health department, today 2,764 citizens were vaccinated in various CVCs across the city on the first day of Tika Utsav.
To mark “Tika Utsav' from April 11 to 14, VP Singh Badnore, Governor Punjab and Administrator UT Chandigarh, will be inaugurating virtually Health and Wellness center EWS flats Maloya .
Two Mobile Vaccination teams were sent for outreach Vaccination sites today .One team went to Bar room Punjab and Haryana High Court and second team went to Satsang hall in Sector 27- D and 120 and 190 beneficiaries availed the benefit respectively at these vaccination centres.
As a special drive to mark these days, Chandigarh Health Department has opened all COVID Vaccination Centres from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on all days so that maximum numbers of eligible people can be benefited.
Chandigarh administration appealed to all eligible people to come forward for Vaccination to follow ‘Dawai Bhi, Kadai Bhi’
In the ongoing drive to contain the transmission of COVID infection, seven mobile teams went to different parts of the city to collect RT-PCR samples. The samples of the staff members of Hotel Mountview ,Shivalik view,Park view, PEC ,CTU workshop, were collected by the teams.
