Mohali: 509 new COVID Cases, 725 Recoveries, 5 Deaths; DC warns strict action against violators
Mohali, April 13, 2021:
Mohali district reported a total of 509 COVID positive cases on April 13 (Tuesday). 5 deaths due to COVID were also reported in the last 24 hours from the district. Along with this, 725 COVID positive patients have been cured on Tuesday.
Mohali Deputy Commissioner Girish Dayalan informed that 29 positive cases were found in
Derabassi, 187 in Dhakoli, 2 in Lalru, 6 in Boothgarh, 14 in Gharuan, 76 in Kharar, 5 in Kurali, 2 in Banur and 188 in urban Mohali.
He disclosed that district's COVID tally is 32611, total cured are 27353, total active cases are 4775 and total deaths reported are 483.
The DC said that District Administration is taking strict action against the violators of quarantine norms in the war against COVID.
Giving details about such actions Girish Dayalan disclosed that information was received from CHC Dhakoli that one Atul Batas, a resident of Golden Apartments in Dhakoli was tested positive. He was still under the quarantine period but he violated the norms and visited hospital. Regarding this an FIR no 39 dated 12.04.21 u/s 269, 270 IPC PS Dhakoli has been registered.
