Who Sabotaged the case? questions Navjot Sidhu on Kotkapura Firing case
Chandigarh, April 17, 2021: Senior Congress leader Navjot Singh on Saturday questioned the Congress government in Punjab on their lackadaisical approach towards Kotkapura and Behbal Kalan Firing case.
Sidhu questioned “Who sabotaged the case?
Taking to Twitter, the senior Congress further asked on why the FIR registered after the Kotkapura firing case had no names.
“Commission of Inquiry headed by HC Judge gave prima facie evidence to prove cognizable (serious) offenses - Naming Accused who gave the Orders ... People Demanded, Vidhan Sabha Demanded, I Demanded ... Yet, FIR filed after the Report has No Names, Why? Who sabotaged the case?” he posted
“Be it Justice (Retd) Zora Singh Commission or Justice (Retd) Ranjit Singh Commission or the SIT formed by the Punjab Vidhan Sabha, investigations directly or indirectly point fingers towards the role of Badal behind the sacrilege of Guru Granth Sahib Ji for the pre-planned violent against the peaceful protestors with the direct chain of command flowing from the Chief Minister on the three front to the Police Administration and local Akali MLA. Even though they continuously attempted to escape blame by sometimes blaming foreign agencies or the innocent people,” said senior leader Navjot Singh Sidhu.
