Mohali police nabbed two travel agents
Mohali, April 17, 2021:
Mohali police have arrested two travel agents of the city, who duped several people to the tune of around Rs 90 lakh on the pretext of sending them abroad.
The accused have been identified as Harish Kumar, a resident of Panchkula and Ashish Kumar, a resident of Dhakoli. The duo was running an immigration firm – The Planet Bulls in Phase 2 here.
SHO of Phase 1 police station, Shivi Brar said, “On getting the tip-off, our team raided the office of the accused and nabbed both the owners. A case has been registered against them under Sections 420, 406, 34 IPC and 13 of the Punjab Travel Professional Regulation Act 2013. The accused were produced before the court today, which sent them to two-day police remand. Further investigation is on.”
