Chandigarh reports 11 deaths and 799 new COVID cases
Chandigarh, May 1, 2021:
Chandigarh reported 799 new COVID-19 positive cases on Saturday. 11 deaths due to COVID were also reported in the last 24 hours. Notably, the city witnessed 43 deaths due to COVID in the last four days.
As per the information released by the health department, UT Chandigarh, the total number of active cases in Chandigarh stands at 7,222.
In the last 24 hours, the department has tested 3,872 samples. As per the figure, 489 deaths have been reported in Chandigarh due to COVID-19 to date.
Likewise, the total number of patients who have tested positive to date stands at 43,446.
