Gangster Bagga Khan’s wife knocks HC door seeking security of husband
Chandigarh, May 5, 2021:
Razia Khan, wife of gangster Buta Khan alias Bagga Khan, filed a writ petition in Punjab and Haryana High Court on Wednesday alleging threat to her husband’s life. While talking to the media in Chandigarh, Razia claimed that her husband, Buta was under tremendous threat and alleged that a planning was underway to kill him at the Amritsar Jail, where he is currently imprisoned.
Razia while sharing her grief along with her lawyer Amjad Khan said; “My husband is being tortured by Mukesh Kumar and Mintu in Amritsar jail. He has even been threatened that he will put along with COVID infected patients.”
Buta has been lodged in Amritsar Jail and is facing trial against several cases for the last around two years. The gangster's wife now doubts that a handful of top officers are framing her husband and she appealed to the state government that her husband should be treated like ordinary prisoners. “He should be kept and provided facility according to the jail manual,” said Razia. She warned that if her husband underwent any untoward incident, then CRP officials Mintu and Mukesh would be held responsible.
