Earlier, DSP Harjinder Singh had posted a video to Capt Amarinder from the hospital and made an emotional appeal that his life could be saved if he was treated at the right place.
He had said that his children could have been saved from being orphaned if the Punjab government had paid the post-mortem funds now so that they could get their treatment from a major hospital. It is learned that his demand was accepted by the government, but it was delayed.
The family also believes that if the state government had listened to their appeal on time, Harjinder Singh’s life could have been saved.
