Breaking: Allahabad High Court gets new Chief Justice
Chandigarh, June 10, 2021:
Justice Sanjay Yadav has been appointed as the chief justice of the Allahabad High Court by the president of India on Thursday.
As per the information, Sanjay Yadav is an M.A. and L.L.B. He had also practiced at Jabalpur for 20 years and has specialized in Labour and Service matters. He also worked as government advocate from March 1999 to October 2005.
Sanjay Yadav was Born on June 26, 1959. He got enrolled as Advocate on August 25, 1986.
Yadav practiced on Civil, Revenue and Constitutional sides in the High Court of Madhya Pradesh at Jabalpur. He was later appointed Deputy Advocate General of Madhya Pradesh.
He elevated as Judge of the High Court of Madhya Pradesh on March 2, 2007 and Permanent Judge on January 15, 2010.
Yadav was appointed as Acting Chief Justice of the Madhya Pradesh High Court with effect from October 06, 2019 till November 02, 2019 and from September 30, 2020 till January 02, 2021.
He was transferred to Allahabad High Court on January 08, 2021. He started performing the duties of the office of the Chief Justice from April 14, 2021. (Source: Live Law and allahabadhighcourt.in)
