Chandigarh, June 12, 2021: BSP Secretary-General Satish Chander Mishra today claimed that the newly formed SAD-BSP alliance will sweep Punjab Assembly elections in 2022 and will make a coalition government with a heavy majority.
Addressing media at the SAD head office here today, Mishra said that this is a historic alliance that has been formed after a gap of 25 years and it will prove to be highly successful.
Lashing out at Amarinder Singh led Congress government in the state, he said that this government has betrayed every section of society.
He said that it had canceled lakhs of ration cards of poor people and not fulfilled other promises made to them.
He said that SAD has stood up for farmers and the poor and it has proved this in Parliament where it had resigned from Cabinet opposing anti-farmer bills of BJP led government and later also scrapped its alliance. He also criticized AAP.
