Mohali: Farmer found murdered near Punjab CM’s farmhouse in Siswan; two arrested

A beheaded body of 40-year-old farmer was found on Sunday near the farmhouse of Punjab chief minister Captain Amarinder Singh in Siswan here.
The deceased has been identified as Sucha Singh, a resident of Chotti- Baddi Nangal.
As per the police, Sucha Singh was missing since June 12 and his family had also filed a missing report to the local police on June 14.
Mullanpur police have booked three persons - Jagir Singh Ghola, Satnam Singh, both residents of Parol Village and Desh Raj, a resident of Nagal village in this connection. Satnam and Deshraj have been arrested by the police whereas Jagir is at large.
The police got the information about when the beheaded body of Sucha Singh was spotted by some people near Siswan. The cops reached the spot and found that body of the deceased was buried and only his feet were visible.
Superintendent of Police (Rural), Ravjot Kaur said, Jagir Singh Ghola, Satnam Singh and Desh Raj were having drinks with Sucha Singh on June 12 evening. Meanwhile, all three had heated arguments with Sucha Singh on issue of borrowing money. After that, the trio took a sword and beheaded Sucha Singh. After killing him, they buried his body in vacant land.
The three suspects are small farmers, who used to work on daily wages, said the SP.
A case of murder has been registered against Jagir, Satnam and Deshraj at the Mullanpur police station on Sunday.
The arrested suspects will be produced in the court on Monday, said the police.
The deceased, Sucha Singh is survived by his wife, 18-year-old son, and two minor daughters.
