Haryana CM warns agitating farmers, targets Punjab Govt (Watch Live)
Chandigarh, August 30, 2021: Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar on Monday warned farmers against hindering the working of the government in lieu of agitation against three farm bills.
Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar was addressing a media on the completion of 2500 days of BJP government in state in Chandigarh Press Club.
He said that many sections are now turning up against agitating farmers since they are causing obstruction in the functioning of the democracy,
“There is limitation of every freedom, there is no absolute freedom. Obstructing official work is against democracy,” he said.
He further targeted Captain Amarinder Singh led Congress government in the Punjab for the repeated ‘obstruction’ of the functioning of the government by the agitating farmers in the state.
“The way the farmers are only targeting Haryana, its evident that Punjab government is behind this,” he added.
Khattar said that farmers’ conflict is with the Central government against the three farm bills not with the state government.
It is to be noted that following the lathi-charge on agitating farmers by Karnal police, Captain Amarinder had slammed Manohar Lal Khattar over brutal assault on farmers and demanded an apology from Haryana CM and aid for the injured farmers.
