Two-days’ Suwidha Camp organized at 5 places in Ferozepur district,
2,056 applications from beneficiaries received on first day
Ferozepur, October 28, 2021: A two-days Suwidha Camp was organized today at district, block, and sub-division levels with the aim of providing benefits of government schemes to a maximum number of people. Deputy Commissioner Ferozepur Vineet Kumar participated in the camp set up at District Administrative Complex. On the first day, 2,056 applications were received from the beneficiaries at the Suwidha camps organized at Ferozepur, Zira, Ghall Khurd, Makhu, and Mamdot.
DC said, these camps have been set up for the benefit of every beneficiary of government schemes. He said, about 500 people visited the camp to avail the schemes of various departments, and 90 applications were received from the people. Similarly, at SDM Zira office, 1321 people visited the camp and 657 applications were received, 280 applications at the camp set up at BDPO office Ghallkhurd , 1010 applications at the camp set up at BDPO office Makhu and 19 applications were received at BDPO office Mamdot.
DC said that these applications were for various public welfare schemes and services related to various departments and the applications received will be proceeded within 15-20 days. The eligible beneficiaries will be extended the full benefits.
Making an appeal to the people, he said that the camp will continue on October 29 and more people should avail the benefits from the available schemes. Besides, a Covid-19 vaccination camp has also been arranged and those who have not yet got vaccinated must avail of this facility also.
