Mohali Shooter clinches two bronze in 64th National Shooting Championship

Chandigarh, November 27, 2021: Tinjit Dhanota, 31, an athlete from Mohali made the state proud after he bagged two bronze medals (civilian category) in the 64th National Shooting Championship that is underway at Dr. Karani Singh Shooting Range in New Delhi.
The shooting event commenced on November 18, 2021, and will conclude on December 6, 2021.
He won the first bronze medal in the 10-m Air Pistol event by scoring 579 points out of 600, while, he scored 548 points out of 600 in 50-m Free Pistol Shooting event to win another bronze.
Having started shooting in the senior category at the age of 22, Tinjit has played six International competitions in Air Pistol Shooting and has already won more than 20 National medals in both events including individual and team till now.
Pertinently, he won a Gold medal in the Master Meet Championship of 10-m Air Pistol event held in New Delhi in 2019. He also won the title of Punjab State Champion in the 10-m Air pistol event held at 6 phase Shooting range in February 2021.
Tinjit, who is running his shooting academy in Mohali, said that his aim and desire is to represent India at International events and bring Laurels to the Punjab and country.
