100-year-old Hussainiwala Rest House to be developed as park, picnic spot
Ferozepur, November 30, 2021: The 100-year-old Rest House to Hussainiwala near Sutlej River will be developed as a restaurant and park picnic spot in the same look, said Davinder Singh Deputy Commissioner while holding a meeting with the NGOs. SDM Om Parkash was also present on this occasion.
During the meeting, various suggestions were given to develop the Hussainiwala Rest House building as a restaurant and park picnic spot on the banks of Sutlej River near Joint Check Post of Indo-Pak border where the retreat ceremony by BSF jawans is performed and witnessed by hundreds of tourists and local visitors.
DC also had interaction with the representative of various NGOs and sought their valuable suggestions for the development in a more attractive and efficient manner. All assured to stand with the administration for the development of the historic site. He said the development of this site would be completed soon where the people can take some time from their daily life and spend their free time with their family and children.
