Sanjeev Kaushal is Haryana's new Chief Secretary

Chandigarh, November 30, 2021: The Government of Haryana has appointed Sanjeev Kaushal, IAS officer of 1986 batch of Haryana cadre as Chief Secretary with immediate effect. He succeeded 1985-batch IAS officer Vijai Vardhan, who retired today.
Before this, Sanjeev Kaushal served in the position of Additional Chief Secretary to Government of India.
It is to be noted that Sanjeev Kaushal is the younger brother of former Punjab CS Sarvesh Kaushal.
Similarly, P.K Das, IAS officer of 1986 batch has been appointed as Additional Chief Secretary.
