CM Channi announces heritage street for Talwandi Sabo
Rs 15 crores to be spend on the development
Announces Rs 5 crores more to upgrade village roads

Rama Mandi, December 8, 2021: Accusing SAD and AAP of not doing anything for the development of the holy town of Talwandi Sabo, Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi today announced to construct of a Heritage street in Talwandi Sabo on the lines of already existing in Amritsar and Sri Chamkaur Sahib.
Addressing a mammoth rally here today at Grain Market CM Channi said that while Badal's only focussed their attention on increasing their wealth they neglected this religious town.
He said that strenuous efforts will be made to develop this religious town. He announced a slew of measures for the overall development of the Talwandi Sabo Constituency.
He said that a model school will be made in Rama Mandi just like the one made recently in Kharar so that children of the area get the best of education.
Expressing concern over traffic snarls, he also announced to make a flyover in Rama Mandi.
He questioned his Delhi counterpart Arvind Kejriwal as to why he announced RS 2500 for the women in Goa and why not the same or even RS 5,000 for Punjab women. He said that AAP is outsider who have done nothing but only false promises. Chief Minister refreshed his last visits' memories when he came on a bicycle.
"This time I came on a helicopter and it's all because of your love and faith", he said amidst loud cheer and clapping of the public. He said that the Rs 17,000 compensation to the farmers affected by pink bullworm will get compensation within the next one week.
Chief Minister lauded the efforts made by Congress leader and Talwandi Sabo Halqa incharge Khushbaaz Jattana for highlighting the pending issues about the area. He said that the Congress government will not leave any stone unturned for the overall development of Talwandi Sabo and Rama Mandi.
Punjab Transport Minister Amarinder Singh Raja Warring said that Punjab Roadways and Punbus added Rs 1.28 crores into the coffers of the state exchequer daily and also the Rs 14 crore tax is collected from the defaulter Badal buses.
He lashed out at Transport Minister also lashed out at Captain Amarinder Singh for taking the false oath of Gutka Sahib.
Congress Talwandi Sabo Halqa in charge Khushbaaz Jattana also spoke during the occasion and highlighted the plight of the area and demanded the immediate attention of the Chief Minister.
Earlier the Punjab CM Charanjit Singh Channi laid the foundation stone of the New Vegetable Market at Rama Mandi in the presence of Transport Minister Amarinder Singh Raja Warring and Halka Incharge Khushbaz Singh Jatana.
Others prominent present on the occasion included Harminder Jassi Ex. Minister, Bathinda Deputy Commissioner Arvindpal Singh Sandhu IG Police Bathinda Range Jaskarn Singh, SSP Ajay Maluja.
