NGO Mayank Foundation organizes “Ferozepur 100 percent vaccination campaign”
Ferozepur turns to 'rose flower' power to help spread vaccine message
Ferozepur, January 22, 2022: Mayank Foundation – a leading local NGO, organized Covid Vaccination camp with the support of Health Department & District Administration, Ferozepur, and used ‘flower power’ by presenting a rose flower to those who got the first and booster dose. It will be a strong message that everyone can understand, said Deepak Sharma, Founder.
The first wave of the coronavirus took the country by surprise and killed tens of thousands. The second wave somehow took the government by surprise and has killed thousands more and now fighting for the third wave by organizing vaccination camps for hundred percent vaccination.
The Vaccination Camp was organized at H.M.School with the aim of getting rid of the general public from the increasing cases of Corona and vaccination of 100% citizens of the Ferozepur district. first, second and booster doses of Covishield were applied.
Roses were presented to the youths who applied the first dose and the senior citizens who got the booster dose.
Camp coordinators Vikas Gumbar and Deepak Sharma said that in view of the increasing cases of the corona, this camp was set up with the aim of helping people to get rid of this epidemic.
Principal Ajit Kumar and staff motivated everyone to apply masks, use sanitizers and maintain social distance. Principal Ajit Kumar, Sister Sonu Sharma from Health Department, staff, and team Mayank Foundation assisted in making the camp a success.
District Immunization Officer Dr. Meenakshi Abrol and Dr. Poonam Trehan congratulated the team for the good management of the camp.
