Don’t fall prey to vaccine rumours, join hands with govt to control COVID-19: Dr Arora
Ferozepur, February 12, 2022: We are yet to get rid of the coronavirus and its gradual transmission is still hitting us. With this scenario, it is better to get vaccinated and stay safe. Don’t fall prey to false vaccine rumours and don’t make a decision for getting vaccinated rather the nearest health centre can be contacted or the personal family doctor can be consulted and come forward to join hands with the government complete control of the COVID-19, said Rajinder Arora, Civil Surgeon.
This appeal was made during the visit to various vaccination centres working in the city by the Civil Surgeon.
Dr Arora said, when the coronavirus cases came down, we all thought everything was fine. All the guidelines went for a toss. People seem to be realising the importance of vaccination now
He said it has been proved that Covid vaccination is completely safe with the vaccination of around 170 crore citizens in India – 10,93,800 in Ferozepur and less vaccinated infected and serious people during the recent Coronavirus war, after two years.
Dr Arora said that during the 100 per cent mission of vaccination, there is a good positive response from the citizens and they are coming forward on their own, terming it as their responsibility to make the eradication of Corovirus a success.
Making re-appeal to the people, he said, “We need to be extra careful now, by not falling prey to the rumours, it is better to clear your doubts by getting an expert opinion from the health department and get vaccinated, for second and booster dose, to successfully stop further transmission of coronavirus, in future”.
